At the beginning, they recalled the week's events, among them the International Journalist's Day in homage to the Czech journalist Julius Fučík, an appropriate occasion to give a present to William Parrao Rojas, who practices this profession in the center, besides recognizing the work of the Institutional Communication Department.
Then the leadership of the Party Committee, elected in an assembly held on July 28th of this year, was presented.
In the conclusions, Julio César Estupiñán Rodríguez, provincial governor, reported on the situation of the pandemic in the province, without transmission of COVID-19 or positive cases. He insisted on the need of wearing masks, having podalic filters, keeping social distancing and the avoidance of workers with respiratory symptoms at work places.
He also referred to the presence of people from the western provinces in the Holguin neighborhoods for different reasons, so acting responsibly to protect ourselves and our families is everyone's task.
Finally, he urged the workers to attend meetings of this kind, which were not held since March due to the pandemic.
