The Provincial Delegation's mission is to exercise control of compliance with State and Government policies in the province, on agricultural and forestry production; the ownership and possession of the land and its sustainable employment; the use, conservation and improvement of soils; plant and animal health; the registration and statistical control of livestock heritage; control of forest heritage and flora and fauna; mechanization, irrigation and agricultural drainage; animal genetics and animal genetic resources; seeds and plant genetic resources; as well as the promotion and development of the cooperative movement in the agricultural and sugar sector.
