Next December 30th, and starting 7:00 am, an agriculture fair will take place in the city of Holguin, where 47 places will be supplied with products. There, an avarage of 4.5 pounds of food and vegetables will be sold per persons.
The idea is to organize the Fairs in the trade network approved for this activity, not in outdoor areas as before, and each municipality will organize these activities according to the characteristics of each place, by way of saluting the years end and in celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the CubanRevolution.
Also, 10 thousand liters of beer in bulk will be sold in locations different to the fairs. In this respect, Martin Pupo, director of EMBER company in Holguin, assured that the sale of refined rum and syrup will also be guaranteed on January 2nd.
On that day, ice cream will be sold for chindren, along with the usual activities for the kids at home.
For the organization of the event, organizational measures were designed so that the population would have greater access to the products, among them the sale of only 10 pounds of vegetables and another 10 pounds of pork meat.
La Poultry Company will offer two thousand turkeys, half a ton of quail meat and six tons of chicken, and 40 thousand units of quail eggs.
For its part, the Price Observatory and other groups designed in this regard, will be responsible of ensuring compliance with the provisions.
Acopio company will maintain the habitual prices, except for those of the productive forms and self-employed workers.
