Julio César Estupiñán Rodríguez, Governor of Holguín, addressed the participants at the inauguration of the Holguín 2021 Entrepreneurs Forum, to whom he proposed:
"This forum is not only to expose or exchange, but to take action and outline strategies for 2022. I propose that it be held every three months to consolidate what has been proposed and materialized. To put a dynamic thrust to our work."
As part of the event, in the Bariay Hall was offered the opening conference: "Update on the economic actors of Holguin province", by Maria Velazquez from the Direction of Coordination of Economy in Holguin.
In a few glimpses of the event, the provincial channel Tele Cristal and the magazine Opciones from the Press Room of the Holguin 2021 Business Forum interviewed the participants of the MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) from Havana, Las Tunas, Santiago de Cuba and Granma, represented by Excelencias de Cuba.
The exchange continued at the Bariay Hall, this time thanks to a lecture on "Quality and Technical Regulations", given by the OTN Directorate in Holguin.
Prior to the inauguration of the Business Forum in Expo-Holguín, Governor Julio César Estupiñán Rodríguez and Vice Governor Yunia Pérez Hernández toured the Exhibition Hall, where they appreciated what was exhibited in the event, where 62 entities participate, 32 stands are rented, and as a novelty the presence for the first time of ten mipymes, the exchange between experts and participants takes place.
This forum convened by the Provincial Government of Holguin is a favorable space for the creation of business opportunities and links between the state sector and the growing non-state sector, which will make it possible to boost the economy and local development.
Gabriel Pérez, commercial specialist of the Holguín-Las Tunas delegation of the Chamber of Commerce, told Prensa Latina that the meeting is also conceived to strengthen a climate of exchange and fraternization among participants through panels and conferences.
The program includes talks on exports of goods and services, presentations of experiences of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and spaces for the exhibition of products, among other activities.
The area for the exhibition of goods and services will be used to promote the work and offers of companies and non-state management forms, with a view to productive chaining and import substitution, said Pérez.
The Forum is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Holguín, the Association of Social Communicators and the Expo-Holguín Exhibition Center.
