For CTC, today, working together is a priority and a responsibility more than ever. Mainly in relation to available or relocated personnel, together with the support to the isolation centers and the tasks related to food production. And as they preach by example, tomorrow they will lead a contingent of 40 people to carry out activities in social assistance centres.
On its part, the FMC presented examples, such as those of its 17 thousand federations immersed in community tasks and actions, such as the preparation of more than 139 thousand masks for their delivery to Health (more than 6 thousand), to the vulnerable population and to social assistance centers, among others.
Another noble attitude is that assumed by sports workers, who take food from the Family Care System to the homes of the elderly.
The CDRs also carry out similar actions, and are currently redoubling their efforts and calling for energy savings. They also make use of sunlight, which is also a good measure for prevention of disease.
In general, all interventions stood out for several common requests: electricity saving, compliance with social isolation and support to the most vulnerable sector of society.
It is important to point out that not receiving positive results from Covid-19 in these two days cannot be translated into neglecting the population or lowering the guard. Today more than ever we must understand that measures will never be enough and everyone must do their part.
