The Provincial Transport Company of Holguín, the 1st. April 1995, as a result of the merger of the Provincial Transportation Sector, the Provincial Bus Companies, Cars, Transportation Workshops, Servicentros, the Municipal Urban Bus Company and the termination of the Provincial Budget Unit for Cargo Carrier Service, Private Rental Drivers of Holguín, subordinating to the Administrative Body of the Provincial People’s Power. Initially it is made up of 18 Base Business Units.
