Holguin implements new measures in response to covid-19 outbreak
The available capacities as isolation centers in all municipalities were thoroughly reviewed, as well as the opening of the "10 de Octubre" polytechnic school in Macabí, Banes.
Given the importance of these places as a preventive measure for new possible contacts of cases, the minimum conditions of these places were checked with the people present in the meeting.
Information was given on the less complicated municipalities and those where an increase is expected in the next few days.
It was learned that the molecular microbiology laboratory of Holguín is working as usual, all cases are processed daily, which means no delay in these studies on the presence or not of the new coronavirus.
The need to use the means of transport wisely was once again stressed; in this regard, the Deputy Governor specified that they should be used in accordance with the number of cases sent to the isolation centers, and that a reserve should be available and ready to act in case of any call for the transportation of cases or contacts.
The data on new cases and their contacts were updated, the distribution of fuel for power generators, food supply and other topics of interest related to the current epidemiological situation in the province of Holguín in view of the resurgence of the COVID-19 were analyzed.
