It was confirmed that the two travelers coming from Mexico tested positive to Covid-19 are assisted at "Fermin Valdes Dominguez" hospital.

She also talked of three suspects to the disease that are isolated, and whose results are expected to come. Nine international travelers are isolated: two at La Ceiba hotel and seven at "Calixto Garcia" polytechnic school.

Other 779 national travelers are under surveillance by the Health System of Primary Attention, out of which 314 came from Havana. Those coming into the province are register when entering the province by the municipality Calixto Garcia, and are then reported to the sanitary authorities of each territory.

It is important that once those travellers arrive at their municipalities, they should behave properly, with discipline staying homes.

It was also known that 78 results coming from the laboratory in Santiago from Cuba proved to be negative.

As on the situation of vectors (aedes aegypti mosquito), the unfavorable situation with positive cases to dengue disease is only seen in the municipalities of Urbano Noris (1.17), Banes (2.02), Holguin (1.34) and Mayari (0.97); all of them above the provincial average with an index of 0.97 % of infestation.

They continue on with fumigation to 714 blocks in risk once a week. However, sanitary authorities insisted on the need of home check by every family member. That is the main measure against this mosquito, which together with the battle of the Covid-19, is a fight for life in Holguin.
